Man guilty of fatal acid hit
A MAN has pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of a woman who was accidentally doused with sulphuric acid amid a drugs dispute.
Bystander Joanne Rand was splashed as Xeneral Webster, 19, tried to throw the liquid at a man. Ms Rand died on June 14, 2017, 11 days after the attack in High Wycome, Bucks.
Webster, of Westway, West London, had pleaded not guilty to murder but admitted manslaughter mid-trial at Reading crown court. Sentencing in June.
