UPGRADES NOT SU GOOD
Subaru has facelifted its Outback estate with a new front grille, bumper, door mirrors and headlamps. Inside there have been upgrades to materials that include gloss black trim panels and a better infotainment system. All good so far.
What’s not so brilliant is the 2.5-litre flat-four petrol engine. It’s naturally aspirated and very thirsty with its official 38.7mpg combined figure being a bit optimistic.
There’s no diesel engine which could be a good or bad thing. Prices are £29,995 for the SE and £33,010 for the Premium SE.
