STICK CAN’T HURT KANE

- BY ADRIAN KAJUMBA

HARRY KANE insists he is not bothered by the backlash over his goal against Stoke City.

The Tottenham star (right) became the butt of jokes and got stick on social media after being awarded the strike.

Kane got the faintest touch off his shoulder on Christian Eriksen’s free-kick and was credited with the goal on appeal, after it was initially given to the Dane.

But the striker, named in the PFA Team of the Year yesterday, said: “People are going to jump on the bandwagon and have a bit of fun on social media. People can have their opinion, it doesn’t bother me in the slightest.”

Kane, 24, is chasing a third successive Premier League golden boot but, with 26 goals, is four behind leader Mo Salah.

He added: “We have both got four games left, so we will just have to wait and see.”
