Royal fans hope for baby on the Queen’s birthday

-

ROYAL fans camped outside the hospital where Kate Middleton is due to give birth are hoping the baby will make an appearance today – the Queen’s birthday.

Draped in flags, Maria Scott, John Loughrey and Terry Hutt, 82, have been sleeping outside the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital, in London’s Paddington.

Maria, 46, from Newcastle, said: “I think we’re coming to the end now.”

John, 63, from Streatham, South London, said: “It would be nice if it’s born on the Queen’s birthday.” Bookies Labrookes are offering odds of 8/1 that the royal baby will be delivered today.

Kate, 36, who is still at home in Kensington Palace, is due any day now but both George, five, and Charlotte, two, were late.
