Back in early 2013, I was deeply puzzled to read down-to-earth Geordie boy Ant McPartlin admit he’d voted Tory because Labour weren’t offering him a valid argument for voting them into power. Having read, thanks to his court fine, that he earns £6.7million a year, I’m puzzled no more.
