Strike threat at hol airport
PASSENGERS at one of Britain’s busiest airports face the threat of delays due to strikes this summer.
London Luton Airport workers are threatening walkouts in a row over pay and zero-hours contracts.
The Unite union warned travellers could face “significant disruption”.
Staff including security guards and firefighters have rejected a 2.15% below-inflation pay rise.
Unite’s Ian Maidlow said: “Members will no longer accept paltry pay packets and unfair treatment.”
