Boys in boat trace appeal

-

TWO brothers have pleaded with shipping firms to watch out for their toy pirate boat, which has sailed 2,800 miles over the Atlantic to South America.

Its tracking device is running low on charge and Ollie Ferguson, eight, and Harry, six, want it picked up, recharged and sent on its way to the Caribbean.

They launched it near their home in Turriff, Aberdeenshire. After reaching Norway, a ship took it and put it in the sea off Africa.

It is now just off Guyana.
