IT’S 1967 ALL OVER AGAIN
Spurs and Chelsea to clinch final date
SEVEN FA Cup semifinals and not ONE victory. Whatever happened to “Cup team” Spurs?
Well, we’re about to find out. Tottenham fans must be sick of hearing that, for all the excitement Mauricio Pochettino’s team has shown, they have still to win something.
Spurs will be the first team ever to play at “home” in an FA Cup semi-final, and that could be the edge they need to knock out obstinate but lustre-free United.
We think both teams will score and Spurs will win (7/2 Betfair) to make it eighth-time lucky and set up a final date with Chelsea (1/2 to beat Southampton) in a repeat of the 1967 final.
