COVENTRY BEARS coach Tom Tsang has urged his young side to make the most of the biggest game in the club’s history.

The League One side have been in the professional ranks only four years and this is their first clash against Super League opposition.

Tsang (above) said: “Our squad is very young – if you take out two or three players our average age is under 21.

“That gives them a fearlessness and a sense of adventure, and they’re really looking to test themselves against these guys who they see on TV.

“This is a chance for them to put themselves in the shop window for future seasons.

“Widnes are a quality team but for our guys it’s an experience and we’re hoping that we remember it for all the right reasons.”
