Walker’s heroic feat
THE victim of a 2012 coach crash told he would never walk again is the first person to complete a marathon after suffering a severed spinal cord.
Zach Washington-Young, 27, did the London course in 11 hours 45 minutes, stopping every three hours for 15 minutes’ physio. He said: “I’m living proof you can do anything you set your mind to.”
