Crash tycoon faces loss of £20m home
A PROPERTY tycoon risks being thrown out of the £20million home he shares with his girlfriend and estranged wife.
Robert Tchenguiz, 57, lives with Julia Dybowska, 27, while his wife Heather Bird lives one floor below.
He is said to have lost £1.5billion in the 2008 Icelandic banking crisis.
His Hyde Park mansion in Central London could be seized by receivers Grant Thornton who want to recoup money lent out by failed bank Kaupthing.
In 2014, liquidators gained a court order in Guernsey allowing them to take assets from him.
The ruling was put on hold pending a judgment made this week by the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council, which Mr Tchenguiz said he will appeal.
