That’ll add a royal string to his bow

PHONE CALL Cellist Sheku MEGHAN Markle bowled over a teenage cellist by personally calling to ask him to play at her Windsor Castle wedding.

Prince Harry’s bride-to-be, 36, phoned 19-year-old Sheku Kanneh-Mason to ask him to perform next month.

The call came after Harry, 33, heard the musician at a charity event last year. Sheku, who won the BBC Young Musician of the Year award in 2016, said: “I’m so excited and honoured.

“I was bowled over when Ms Markle called me to ask if I would play during the ceremony and of course I immediately said yes.

“What a privilege to be able to play the cello at such a wonderful event.” Others, revealed yesterday, include gospel group The Kingdom Choir and Welsh soprano Elin Manahan Thomas.

Kensington Palace said the pair “have taken a great deal of care choosing the music”.
