A Nazi shock in basement
NAZI relics hidden in Austria’s parliament have been revealed for the first time in nearly 73 years.
The hoard includes two busts, two paintings and a bronze of Adolf Hitler.
They were found in a sealed closet in the building’s basement during renovations in Vienna.
A parliamentary spokesman said: “All the artefacts are objects of Nazi propaganda, created around 1938 or earlier.”
No decision has been made on the relics’ future.
