‘Life’s better without leg’
A YOUNG woman who asked to have a leg amputated now feels “liberated”.
Victoria Snell, 26, took the decision last year after a simple stress fracture did not heal after six years.
Pals had a “get Vicky legless” party before the op.
Victoria, of Manchester, said: “I knew that with prosthetics I could have a better life.
“It’s liberating, empowering. I haven’t used my wheelchair in months.”
Her leg “just snapped” as she walked down the street after a trip to the cinema in Plymouth, Devon.
