Hollywood actor Corey Feldman was introduced to cannabis on the set of hit 1986 movie Stand By Me with his friend River Phoenix.

It was the start of a dark journey that led Corey to lose years of his life to heroin, while River ended up dead seven years later from an overdose of cocaine and heroin.

Teen rapper Abz was a clean-living 16-year-old when he joined boyband 5ive! Before long he was one of the UK’s million regular drug users.

And Babyshambl­es guitarist Patrick Walden tried to stop his addiction to heroin by switching to legal highs – only to find them just as dangerous.

This eye-opening documentar­y features 10 former addicts who each talk candidly about the experience­s that plunged them into addiction and their continuing battle to survive. Not all are celebritie­s – there is also a former banker, Jamie, who admits he volunteere­d for night-feeds so that he could – baby in arms – secretly snort lines of cocaine.
