CAREER WE GO CAMPERS

-

When you think of Butlin’s, you probably think of Redcoats and entertainers.

But if you’re a jobseeker, you should be thinking chef, housekeeper, electrician or even gardener as the iconic British holiday brand has a vast range of roles on offer.

There are 370 vacancies across its three resorts in Bognor Regis, Minehead and Skegness – as well as at the firm’s support centre in Hemel Hempstead – as Butlin’s bucks the trend by growing its team, rather than shedding jobs like many other famous names.

It’s also ‘officially’ a great place to work as it’s part of the Bourne Leisure Group, which came sixth in The Times Best Big Companies to Work For. Many people think Butlin’s jobs are summer only, but they’re now open all-year round.

Managing director Dermot King. “We employ around 1,000 team members on each resort, with most in areas such as accommodation, retail, bars, maintenance and so on.

“We offer full-time positions with opportunities for training and progression.

“If people like the idea of relocating from another part of the country, then we are happy to hear from them, and we’re in a position to help with accommodation and supporting them.”
