SAM TALKS ON FUTURE END IN STALEMATE
SAM ALLARDYCE’S Everton future looks increasingly unsure after face-toface talks with major shareholder Farhad Moshiri in London.
The Blues boss travelled to the capital yesterday following his calls for the club’s owner to end the uncertainty that has engulfed his managerial reign.
Moshiri made it clear no decision has
yet been taken regarding Allardyce’s future, but the club will not make any public statement of support either.
Allardyce has never enjoyed a rapport with the Goodison support, and that relationship became increasingly fraught in recent weeks, following a series of uninspired performances and booing from the terraces. Things came to a head after a club survey of their fanbase asked them to rate their trust in the manager. That sparked the former England boss, appointed in November, to seek clear-the-air talks.
