ALBION UP THE CREEK ON DAWSON

- BY JOHN CROSS

WEST BROM face a battle to keep defender Craig Dawson.

Burnley, Wolves and West Ham are all monitoring Dawson, who has been a key figure in Albion’s recent revival.

Burnley manager Sean Dyche, who is looking to strengthen his squad next season, is an admirer of the 27-year-old centre-back (left), who can also play at full-back.

West Brom have a string of players who could become transfer targets if they go down.

Many of them have 40 per cent wage-cut clauses in their contracts if the club are relegated.

Left-back Kieran Gibbs, winger Matt Phillips, and striker Salomon Rondon are likely to be targeted this summer if they go down.
