Cinderella thief unhappy ever after

A BURGLAR has been jailed for 16 months after he was identified from a trainer he left at the scene of his crime.

Fabian McNerney’s right shoe was torn off in a scuffle with the property owner. Police in Bournemouth, Dorset, later stopped a suspect vehicle and spotted McNerney, 44, of no fixed address, wearing the identical size 10 on his left foot. He pleaded guilty to burglary.
