Wales want Principality
WALES, under boss Ryan Giggs, are set to return to Cardiff’s 74,500-capacity Principality Stadium after a seven-year absence.
The FAW last month announced an October home friendly against 2010 World Cup winners Spain.
Since then, they have talked to the Welsh Rugby Union about playing in the capital’s biggest venue.
It is now expected the Principality Stadium will be confirmed as the venue for the Wales-Spain clash.
Wales last played there against England in March 2011, then switched to the the 33,000-capacity Cardiff City Stadium.
