Hospital dash speeding rap

A NEW dad is being hauled to court after a motorway camera clocked him doing 101mph as he rushed his pregnant wife to hospital.

Louis Baker, 30, faces a fine of up to £2,500 and a driving ban after police refused to waive the ticket.

Wife Laura, 26, of Rubery, Worcs, said he put his foot down fearing she was about to give birth.

She added: “It was an emergency, he was doing what he could to save us.”

Their son Ellis was later delivered safely in hospital.
