Bully threatened to kill nut allergy boy, 9, with Snickers
A BOY of nine with a nut allergy was terrified after a bully threatened to kill him with a Snickers bar at school.
Freddie Jones was found crying by his mum in an after-school club at Holy Trinity primary, Sunningdale, Berks.
He was so shaken that he took a day off and saw a psychologist.
Mum Iris, 47, is now backing a campaign against allergy bullying, where kids use a child’s allergies to scare them. Mrs Jones said: “He suffers a lot of anxiety because of his severe allergy. On another occasion, the same boy threatened to take Freddie out with peanuts at a football match. These are not isolated incidents, sadly.” Karen Woodford, of allergy charity Safer Eating, said: “People laugh but allergens kill. It’s not funny. A nut can be as deadly as a knife.” The school did not respond to a request for comment.
