OAP’s divorce death plunge

A RETIRED British businessman fell 18 floors to his death, hours after filing papers to divorce his wife.

John Toms, 68, had been dumped by Thai former partner Thanyaporn, 55, who had found a new man.

Police believe he jumped from his apartment in Pattaya, Thailand.

Mr Toms, of Mid Glamorgan, Wales, had been sitting on the balcony with new girlfriend Naritha Daosri, 49, minutes before.

Police said: “The cause is presumed to be suicide due to personal problems.”
