May backing upskirt law
THERESA May is supporting calls to outlaw taking photos up women’s skirts without their consent.
The Prime Minister said the Government will look “in detail” at a Bill put forward by Lib Dem MP Wera Hobhouse.
Mrs May said she “shares the outrage” of victims over the behaviour.
So-called upskirting is not automatically a crime in England and Wales.
Prosecutions rely on laws to stop voyeurism or enforce public order.
