Copperfield trick ‘slip-up’
THE Briton suing illusionist David Copperfield has given evidence about his brain injury claim.
Gavin Cox, 58, fell in 2013 while taking part in a trick where 13 members of the audience “disappear”.
He said crew urged them to “run as fast as we could” through a backstage area at MGM Grand, Las Vegas.
Mr Cox, 58, of Kent, told jurors: “It was dark, I didn’t have all my senses.”
Copperfield, 61, denies responsibility. The case in Las Vegas continues.
