The Geordie singer and French restaurant owner met at the Cannes Film Festival in 2014 and tied the knot just 12 weeks later in a romantic ceremony on the exclusive island of Mustique.

Even French wasn’t a barrier with Cheryl saying: “I understand a lot more than I speak.”

But cracks started to show and they split at the end of 2015, divorcing 10 months later. Cheryl blamed his “unreasonable behaviour” claiming it caused her “stress and weight loss”.
