I SAID at the time of Claude Puel’s appointment at Leicester that it was an underwhelming one. Some people hit back by telling me it wasn’t because he’s such a good coach. However, personality is so important in a dressing room and that’s why Claudio Ranieri, another underwhelming appointment, ended up doing so well. He used his little quirks to get the players onside, something Puel (right) hasn’t been able to do.
