Tim dares to d-Ream

-

TIM REAM has delivered a blunt assessment of Fulham’s failed automatic promotion bid.

Defender Ream (below) did not mince his words after the Cottagers missed out on second place in the Championship to Cardiff.

Slavisa Jokanovic’s side would have gone up had they won at Birmingham as Cardiff were held to a 0-0 draw by Reading.

Instead, Fulham lost 3-1, their first league defeat since December which ended a 23-game unbeaten run.

Ream said: “It was down to us, it was there for us, we got the result we needed in the Cardiff game and, pardon my French, but we s**t the bed.”

Fulham now face Derby in the play-off semi-finals and he added: “It’s three more games and we take the first game as it is.

“We look at the second game, but we can’t look past this first play-off tie.”
