JUVE’S ALLEGRI IS INTERESTED IN TAKING THE GUNNERS JOB

- BY JOHN CROSS

JUVENTUS boss Max Allegri is interested in the Arsenal job.

Insiders at the Italian club believe it is “50-50” as to whether Allegri will stay or leave but if he goes then Arsenal would be his most likely destination.

The Gunners have got Allegri on their shortlist and they believe he would be happy to fit into the club’s management structure as he

already works in a similar set-up at Juventus.

Allegri now seems a more likely successor to Arsene Wenger than former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique as he wants £15million AFTER tax.

Enrique has also been on Chelsea’s radar but could miss out on both jobs because they are more interested in Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri. Allegri has indicated he wants to manage in England in the future but Juventus will begin discussions on a new contract after the Coppa Italia final tomorrow.
