Widow Rosina, 85, is found battered to death in home
AN 85-year-old widow has been battered to death in her home.
Rosina Coleman’s body was found by a handyman and police said she was attacked between 7.30am and 11.30am on Tuesday and left to die.
A close friend, who did not want to be named, said Rosina, a seamstress, had lived at the bungalow in Romford, East London, for more than 40 years. He added: “Rose was an incredible person.” Police were last night carrying out a search of the house and garden. Det Insp Paul Considine said: “This is a despicable incident in which the victim had been subjected to a cowardly assault that left her with serious injuries. “It is imperative that we find those responsible for this horrendous offence.”
