Bitcoin’s latest celebrity boast
Fraudsters pushing Bitcoin investment scams like to claim approval from celebrities in the business world.
One of the latest names they’ve hijacked is The Apprentice host Lord Sugar.
“Warning: Please ignore an advert from Bitcoin-Trader suggesting I endorse their offerings,” he’s written on Twitter.
“They are SCUM, it is a total scam. Please pass this on to all your friends particularly the elderly who are falling for this terrible scam.”
I warned last month how Bitcoin-Trader was claiming to have been the biggest investment winner in Dragons’ Den history.
A fake news site told how Deborah Meaden invested £180 on the show and turned it into £323 in three minutes.
She used her website to call the claims “entirely false”.
The endorsements on Bitcoin-Trader’s website from Sir Richard Branson and Bill Gates are just as fake.
The site boasts that users “typically” make $13,000 or £9,500 profit daily – and if that doesn’t get alarm bells ringing, nothing will. NO FAN Lord Sugar speaks out on traders
