Archbishop slams race hate comments
THE Archbishop of Canterbury has praised “exceptional” Meghan, slamming critics who objected to the marriage on racial grounds. Church of England leader Justin Welby will officiate the ceremony at Windsor Castle. The archbishop, who baptised Meg at a top secret service, said she is “remarkable”, adding he “cannot imagine why” anyone would object.
He told Canterbury Christ Church University’s Students’ Union website: “Her race has nothing to do with anything. She’s someone of thoughtfulness, integrity, service, commitment to duty.”
