Cup stars get panic button

ENGLAND’S World Cup stars will have panic buttons to summon a team of Russian ex-military and special forces personnel.

A tracking app will keep tabs on players at risk of robbery and kidnap in a tournament that Islamic State has vowed to attack.

App developer Vismo,of York, has linked up with Moscow’s Elite Security.

Vismo said the deal tackled “difficulties of rapid response in Russia, where games will be spread over a very large area”.
