WBA boss rues drop

-

WEST BROM chief executive Mark Jenkins blames relegation on “sacrificing their principles”, including costly loans for Daniel Sturridge and Grzegorz Krychowiak.

This week they unveiled Darren Moore as their permanent boss, but Jenkins said: “Sometimes you have to sacrifice your principles. You sign a player on a loan you don’t really think you should.

“Darren is the right man for the job, given this new impetus which the club wants to take.”

Jonny Evans, Gareth Barry, Ahmed Hegazi and Salomon Rondon are all expected to leave.
