This new series lets cameras through the doors of “one of the most misunderstood institutions in the world” as it faces turbulent times ahead.
Seven MEPs from across the political spectrum have invited C4 into this Brussels bubble so we can witness the tears, the tactics and the tantrums. It’s almost like political satire The Thick Of It as we follow them around plotting and sniping at each other.
In this episode, Labour’s Seb Dance is defiantly striving to keep the EU flag flying, while Gerard Batten of Ukip wants to consign it to history.
Seb and his assistant Emily must debrief after his recent stunt where he held up a sign (with helpful arrow) while Nigel Farage was speaking.
The sign said: “He’s lying to you”. Suffice to say, not everyone was happy.
