3 flights cancelled by travel firm

MORE than 1,000 Liverpool fans have had their flights to Kiev for the Champions League final cancelled.

Travel operator Worldchoice Sports grounded three planes after failing to secure landing slots at Boryspil Airport.

Fans who paid £950 each for the return journey from Liverpool’s John Lennon Airport to watch Saturday’s match against Real Madrid will get refunds.
