TALK about screeching, tyre-burning U-turns… Jeremy Clarkson looks to have changed gears politically as he drives around in a car backing Labour.

The Tory-supporting motormouth TV host was spotted in Oxford in a silver car, but with a distinctive flash of red.

But all may not be exactly as it seems, as the Mirror understands Clarkson was filming a new series of Amazon car show The Grand Tour this week and the car is likely to be part of a sketch or prank.

Clarkson has previously been critical of Labour and its leader Jeremy Corbyn.

Earlier this month – as he prepared to host Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? – he said: “If Jeremy Corbyn came on and lost £125,000 I’d crap myself laughing.”
