WIDNES coach Denis Betts is expecting a Wakefield side every bit as desperate as his own to recapture their form.

Betts said: “It’s a tough ask and they’re searching for the spark to get them firing again as well.

“They want to get back on an upward spiral after making such a good start to the year. We’re desperate for a win with the way we’re playing and it should be a great contest.”
