A HUNGRY foodie scoffed a monster 4lb 10oz steak in just 18 minutes in an extreme eating challenge.
Food blogger Kate Ovens downed a 4in-thick rib-eye as big as her head, costing £240 and weighing more than two bags of sugar – then said she still had room for an ice-cream.
The petite social media star said: “It was the biggest steak I’d ever seen.
“I thought I’d have had no chance. I asked for lots of sauces, but the beef was so exquisite it didn’t need anything at all.”
Kate from Kennington, South London, took on the 6,000-calorie challenge at M restaurant in the City.
She said afterwards: “I was a bit disappointed when it was over. If they ask me back they’re going to have to get bigger cows.”
