Man charged over ‘party girl’ murder
A MAN has appeared in court charged with murder after a woman was found bludgeoned in her bed.
The body of Christina Abbotts, 29, was discovered after she missed her own birthday party on Friday.
Her family said: “This independent lady was taken from us far too early. The light in our life is now extinguished.”
Zahid Naseem, 47, of Amersham, Bucks, was arrested at the property in Crawley, West Sussex.
Brighton magistrates remanded him in custody until tomorrow.
