I’LL DOM-INATE WITH THE BALL
DOM BESS was delighted with his half century on his Test debut, but admits he needs a decent bowling display to secure a place.
Somerset’s 20-year-old off-spinner (above) put on 126 runs with Jos Buttler to give England a glimmer of hope in an otherwise dismal game at Lord’s.
Bess said: “It was an amazing feeling to get my first half century for England – very special.
“Now I’ve got to put in a good performance with the ball. I’ve got to put six good balls together, which is something I usually do.”
