UNITED’S WOMEN READY TO RUMBLE

MANCHESTER UNITED’S bid to start a new professional women’s team has been accepted by the FA.

The team, known as Manchester United Women, will compete in the rebranded second tier, called the FA Women’s Championship, starting later this year.
