Brexit sparks jitters in City

THE City fears Brexit will be dominated by tariffs rather than the future of the financial sector, a shadow minister warned.

Labour MP Jonathan Reynolds said a deal which fails to cover services “is clearly a very bad” one.

The Bank of England reportedly fears Brussels could gain sway over the City. Relations between the BoE and the Treasury were “very bad”, an official said.
