Paris balcony boy fell from the flat above

THE boy left hanging off a Paris balcony before being rescued by an immigrant dubbed “Le Spider-Man” had fallen from the floor above, it has emerged.

The neighbour seen clinging on to the fouryear-old until Mamoudou Gassama got to him said the boy had climbed off his own balcony and dropped 15 feet to the one below.

“The little lad was bleeding from the toes, and had lost a nail,” the neighbour told a newspaper.

Prosecutor Francois Molins said the boy’s dad, 36, was on bail, facing a neglect charge that could lead to two years in prison.

The dad had been shopping and playing Pokemon Go in the street and had delayed his return home.’ Mr Gassama’s bravery has earned him citizenshi­p.
