RAHEEM STERLING has the full support of FA chiefs in the row over his machine-gun tattoo.

The England star has faced criticism for the image on his right leg.

Sterling, 23, has since explained on social media that he has never touched a gun and that his dad was shot dead in Jamaica when he was just two years old.

An FA spokesperson said: “We all support Raheem and acknowledge his honest account.”
