N Korea chief in NY for talks

ONE of North Korea’s most senior officials has travelled to New York as preparations for a summit with the US gather pace.

Former intelligence chief Gen Kim Yong-chol is the most senior official from Pyongyang to visit America since 2000.

In a U-turn, President Donald Trump confirmed he was still trying to fix face-to-face talks with Kim Jong-un on June 12.
