WHY TORIES NEED THEM

IN the 2017 election, the Tories got 318 MPs – eight short of the 326 needed for a majority.

Theresa May did a deal with the DUP to get the support of its 10 MPs.

She also gave the party £1billion to spend.

It means the PM cannot upset the DUP, as she runs the risk of her Government collapsing.
