Sick NHS GPs crisis

WHEN so many family doctors are quitting the jobs they love you know our NHS is in crisis.

In the past five years, 1.3 million people have had to find new surgeries because their GP practice is closing. Can there be a more damning indictment of the policies that are bringing this great service to its knees?

The funding and recruitment difficulties are the result of Tory austerity.

And Conservative Ministers insisting all is well are living in a dream world by denying the grim reality of life in Britain.

Family doctors are the bedrock of the NHS, the first point of call for most of us when we are sick.

With so many leaving this piles pressure on to our already overstretched hospital accident and emergency units. It is time stop hounding our GPs out of the NHS.
