GARETH SOUTHGATE has handed his players a preWorld Cup treat – by giving them an extra day off.

The England boss took training yesterday, then the squad were allowed to leave the camp and report back up tonight.

They will see their families before preparing for Saturday’s friendly with Nigeria at Wembley.
