‘£150k’ Pooh map on sale
THE 1926 map of Winniethe-Pooh’s Hundred Acre Wood is expected to sell for up to £150,000 at auction next month.
EH Shepard’s sketch, unseen for nearly half a century, introduced AA Milne readers to the world of Christopher Robin.
The illustration is signed off: “Drawn by me and Mr Shepard helpd.”
Sotheby’s Dr Philip Errington said: “This is probably the most famous map in English literature.”
